Adaeze is a YWCA leader from Nigeria who advocates for the inclusion and equality of women's health and rights, especially in rural communities.

For over five years, she has actively engaged and worked as a volunteer at the National YWCA of Nigeria, leading initiatives that build on young women's transformative leadership and that focus on leaving no one behind.

She was recently elected as National Youth Coordinator of YWCA of Nigeria, and in this position, she aims to use her skills to leverage youth engagement and promote World YWCA tools such as the Rise Up! Guide for Young Women’s Transformative Leadership.

She graduated with honours in Biochemistry and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Herbal Medicine (Pharmacognosy) to gain knowledge and promote herbal medicine that rural women in developing countries depend on for health needs.
